The data controller is Daniel John Chadwick trading as Page & Place, 1 Kale Close, CH48 3LE, United Kingdom. This is a correspondence and service address, not a customer office. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
Information the site may collect
The project enquiry form asks for your name, business name, email address, optional telephone number, optional website or social profile, the service of interest and a project brief. It also receives a spam-protection token and basic technical request information needed to deliver and secure the form.
Please do not submit special-category data, payment details or other sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
How the information is used
Enquiry information is used to take steps requested before entering a contract, assess and respond to the project, clarify requirements, prevent misuse and maintain appropriate business records. Contract and accounting records are used to perform agreements and meet legal obligations. Security processing and proportionate business records may also rely on legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. The form does not add people to a mailing list or automated sales sequence.
Service providers
Page & Place uses Cloudflare for hosting, security, Turnstile and privacy-conscious web analytics; Resend for transactional delivery of enquiry messages; and Google Workspace for email receipt and storage. These providers may process limited technical, security or message data under their service terms and data-processing arrangements. Personal information is not sold, and no CRM or automatic mailing-list subscription is used at launch.
Retention
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally retained for 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Spam and security information may be retained for up to 30 days. Successful-client contracts, invoices and important project correspondence are normally retained for six years after the relationship ends, subject to overriding legal requirements. Backups are removed through the documented backup-rotation process.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data and, where applicable, data portability. Contact [email protected] to exercise a right. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and local storage
Cloudflare security services may set strictly necessary values. Cloudflare Web Analytics is the approved basic analytics service. Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session replay and other non-essential tracking will not be introduced without separate scope, privacy review, disclosure and any consent mechanism required by law.
